HOLY PLACE CHURCH HEALING CRUSADE

GREETINGS TO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD:

The Holy Place Church is announcing its coming healing crusade. It will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2006, in the City of Pasadena, California, in the hope of reaching out to the people of all walks of life for spiritual up-liftment, healing, and reconciliation.
We are encouraging all converts to take part and participate in planting the seed of the word of God for the lost soul, for those who are helpless, and hopeless, and to find their true meaning and purpose in life. To open the lost souls to the Word of God, to show them how to be sheltered of being in the shadows of God's wings and to become victorious.
We welcome your contributions and donations to cover all kind of expenses that will incur in making this crusade possible. We have to cover also for using the facility and its equipments of THE WAREHOUSE of the Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena.
Let us join hands in these wonderful Spiritual endeavors, and find your purpose in life in the midst of this chaotic world. We say, "Arise O Lord! and let your enemies be scattered."
LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD.

A WORD FROM THE PASTOR.

Monrovia Convalescent Hospital Saturday Service

These are the pictures taken inside the convalescent hospital

The Pastor and Sister Vicky was conducting services, and Sister Vicky was giving the word of God.

This was the same place where Arthur Enriquez was completely healed of his cancer of the lungs, cancer of the liver, and a broken heap, through the power of prayer last 2002. He was able to walk again pushing his wheel chair from being bed ridden patient to be able to raise back to life.

The residence of this hospital looks forward every Saturday morning service with singing of praise and worship and hymns. Dennise Clemence, Dale Petersen, Barbara, and Richard were able to attend church services last October 3 celebration.

WHY WE BELIEVE THAT JESUS CHRIST WAS BORN ON OCTOBER 3 6BC

Christmas Festival was named after Christ Jesus the true Messiah, connected with the ceremonial mass, in celebration of Jesus birth. December 25 is referred to in documents as Christmas day in AD 354 for the first time. Under the Roman Emperor Justinian, it was recognized as an official holiday. An old Roman festival played a major part in the choice of this particular day. December 25 in ancient Rome was the "Dies Natalis Invicti," “the birth of the unconquered Sun," and at the same time, the day of the winter solstice, and in Rome the last days of Saturnalia. These Festivities degenerated into a week of unbridled carnival, therefore a time when the Christians could feel most safe from the persecution. All over the world, the solstice is connected with rebirth, so it made sense for the early Christians to tag on their own ersatz birth celebration to one that was already around.

It is wrong for us to say that Christ Jesus was born on 1st AD (Anno Domini) for there was a big discrepancy when Ussher the author of "The Annals of the World" retraced backs the date. One of the factors that he missed the true date was that there is a huge difference in Gregorian calendar, Julian calendar, and the Jewish calendar. And Christmas is actually a cleaned up version of old Pagan festivities.

For a start, there is no evidence that Christ was born at Christmas. At Christmas time in Bethlehem is in the grip of frost, and no cattle have been in the fields in that temperature. This fact is borne out by a remark in the Talmud to the effect that in that neighborhood the flocks were put out to grass in March and brought in again at the beginning of November. When Jesus was born, "there were in the same country shepherd abiding in the field, keeping watch over the flock by night." Luke 2:8.

Adam Clarke has written, "as the shepherd had not yet brought home their flocks, consequently, our Lord was not born on the 25th of December, not even in January or the month of February, on these very ground the nativity in winter time should be given up.

Nor would the Romans have ordered a census in the winter, the most difficult time of the year for travel. There were no records to indicate that the middle of winter was the time of the taxing.
A more logical time of the year would have been the fall season, at the end of the harvest. If this was the case, it would have been the season of the Feast of the Trumpets, the Feast of Tabernacles, and it all began after the Feast of Atonement, in the Jewish month of Tishri or Etanim falls on the month of October;( 3 feast in a row almost a month of celebration, Leviticus 23:22-24 and Deuteronomy 16:13 where held in Jerusalem which could explain why Mary and Joseph Luke 2:4-10, there was no room in the inn even as far as the town of Bethlehem which is only 5 miles from Jerusalem.)

According to the great historian of their days, Flavius Josephus, Jerusalem was normally a city of 120,000 inhabitants. But the series of Festivities sometimes bring as many people to offer sacrifice and to observed it to 2,000,000 Jews would gather.

Star of Bethlehem

MATTHEW 2:1-2. Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,
2. saying, “where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
Verse: 7. Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.

The Star of Bethlehem.
In the year 7 B.C. Jupiter and Saturn did in fact meet in Pisces and, as Johannes Kepler Imperial Mathematician and Astronomer in Prague had already discovered, observing with his modest telescope the approach of two planets. “Conjunction” is the technical name for the position of two celestial bodies on the same degree of longitude. Sometimes two planets move so close to one another that they have the appearance of a single star. The night Saturn and Jupiter had a rendezvous in space within the constellation of Pisces.
Looking through his notes later Kepler suddenly remembered something he had read in the rabbinic writer Abarbanel, referring to an unusual influence which Jewish astrologers were said to have ascribed to this same constellation. Messiah would appear when there was a conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter in the constellation Pisces.
Kepler checked his calculation again and again. The result was a three-fold conjunction within the space of a year. Astronomical calculations gave the year as
7 B.C. according to astrological tables it must have dated the conception of Mary consequently 7 B.C.

The time-table of this planetary encounter when it is presented in the prosaic dating system of modern astronomical calculations look something like this:

About the end of February in 7B.C. the clustering began. Jupiter moved out of the constellation Aquarius towards Saturn in the constellation of Pisces. Since the sun at that time was also in the sign of Pisces its light covered the constellation. It was not until April 12th that both planets rose in Pisces heliacally with a difference of 8 degrees of longitude. “Heliacal” is the word used by astronomers to indicate the first visible rising of a star at daybreak.
Since Nebuchadnezzar’s time many thousands of Jews had lived in Babylon. Many of them may have studied at the School of Astrology in Sippar. This wonderful encounter of Jupiter with Saturn, guardian of Israel, in the constellation of the “west country”, of the Messiah, must have deeply moved the Jewish Astrologers.
For according to astrological ways of thinking it pointed to the appearance of a mighty king in the West Country, the land of their fathers. To experience that in person, to see it with their own eyes, that was the reason for the journey of the wise astronomers from the East.
On May 29th, visible for fully two hours in the morning sky, the first close encounter took place in the 21st degree of Pisces with a difference of 0 degrees of longitude and of 0.98 degrees of latitude. They observed the first encounter of the two planets from the roof of the School of Astrology at Sippar. At that time of the year the heat was already unbearable in Mesopotamia. Summer is no time for long and difficult journeys. Besides that, they knew about the second conjunction on October 3rd. They could predict this encounter in advance as accurately as future eclipses of the sun and moon.

The second conjunction took place on October 3rd in the 18th degree of the constellation of Pisces. The fact that October 3rd was the Jewish Day of Atonement may have been taken as an admonition, and at that point they may have started out on their journey. Travel on the caravan routes even on camels, the swiftest means of transport, was a leisurely affair. If we think in terms of journey lasting about six weeks, the wise men would arrive in Jerusalem towards the end of November.
Matthew 2:2“saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” Herod was troubled when he heard this. Herod, who had been appointed by the Romans, was in fact not a Jew but an Idumaean, (Tribe of Esau) and not from Judah. Herod therefore summoned the Wise Men and sent them to Bethlehem after he gathered it from the Chief Priest and Scribes where will the Messiah appear and to inform him of the child.
Since Jupiter and Saturn came together for the 3rd time in the constellation of Pisces on the 4th of December, Matthew 2:10, When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. Verse 9. ‘When they heard the king, they departed and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.
On the road to Hebron, 5miles from Jerusalem lays the village of “Bet Lahm”, which was the old Bethlehem of Judah. The ancient highway, which Abraham had once pass along, lay almost due north and south, At their third conjunction the planets Jupiter and Saturn appeared to have dissolved into one great brilliant star.
In the twilight of the evening they were visible in a southerly direction, so that the Wise Men of the East on their way from Jerusalem to Bethlehem had the bright star in front of their eyes all the time. As the gospel says, the star actually “went before them.” End.

Holy Place church Articles of Faith

THE ARTICLES OF FAITH OF THE HOLY PLACE CHURCH

I. SCRIPTURES INSPIRED.
We believe by faith that every word in the bible are anointed words, true, and inspired by God.
II TIMOTHY 3:16-17. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
II PETER 1:20-21. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

II. ONE TRUE GOD.
GOD who is sometimes address as Elohim, He is one, the true God that created the heavens; HE Himself that formed the earth and made it to be inhabited, He is eternal and self-existent with no beginning and no end, the holy one of Israel, the great “I AM”, the Savior, the Messiah, the redeemer of all mankind, the coming King, the Faithful and True, the Word of God, the Eternal Judge. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.

a. THE UNITY OF ONE BEING.
That God is one and represented by three offices or functions. Like man, who was a created being of God was created in the image or a replica of God (GENESIS 1:27) is compose of three bodies, the Body of the flesh, the body of the Soul, and the body of the Spirit.(I JOHN 5:7-8).
Father God, is how we should address Him for He is our provider and for we are all His children. (II Corinthians 6:18)
He is the Eternal One who has no beginning and no ending. He is the Soul of the whole creation. (Colossians 1:16-17)
Jesus who is the Christ is revealed as the only Son, was represented to us in the flesh, the Arm of the Lord revealed himself in Isaiah 53, whom God concentrated His power and in Him is complete. COLOSSIANS 2:9. FOR IN HIM DWELLETH THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. COLOSSIANS 1:19. FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT IN HIM SHOULD ALL FULNESS DWELL; He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us and was crucified for all the sins of the world and through Him, we may have salvation. (JOHN 3:15-18)(REVELATION 19:13.)
The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the living God. We address Him as the Holy Spirit, the comforter, the discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart, the breath of life that made man a living soul.
GENESIS 1:2. AND THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT, FORM AND VOID; AND DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP. AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS. The Spirit of God, which is the Holy Ghost is the gift giver of Wisdom, Faith, Miracles, Healing, Discerners of thoughts, Prophecy, Word of Knowledge, Revelations through dreams and revelation through tongues with interpretation. Use to edify the church and the Saints.
b. IDENTITY AND AGREEMENT OF GOD AS TO ITS THREE DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS.
The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost has different functions, but they are integral form of Godhead and never separate in agreement as one body and never to confused as three different God. The Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son as to unity of relationship. The Holy Ghost is from the Father and the Son proceeding, neither has a different office or function of the Godhead, either exists or works separately or independently of the others. (John 5:17-30, John 8:16-19).
c. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.
That God declare the Name of Jesus the Christ as the only name that is above all name and title.
Philippians 2:9-11, God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name above every name:
That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, on things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord; to the glory of God the father.
d. THE WORD BECAME FLESH.
Jesus Christ was unique, for He was God from all eternity and yet joined Himself to sinful humanity in the incarnation. The God-man possessed all the attributes of deity. Only the God man could be adequate Savior; for He must be human in order to be able to suffer and die, and He must be God to make that death effective as a payment for sin. (Isaiah 7:14. therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, with being interpreted is, God with us. John 1:14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
III. SALVATION OF MAN.
The world’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
a.) Conditions to salvation-is received through repentance toward our Lord God and having our faith in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. By washing of regeneration through the blood of Christ and by the in filling of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith.
( Luke 24:47, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-7, John 3:3-7).
b.) Evidence of Salvation-is the inward transformation of man through the power of God by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost and transforming him into a new man. (II Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:15) The outward evidence of repentant man is to see God’s manifestation and God’s glory in man with the zeal of God as evidence according to knowledge and wisdom from on high. (Romans 8:9-10, Romans 8:1-2 KJV, Romans 12:1-2)
IV. ORDINACES OF THE CHURCH.
a.) Baptism through immersion.
All who have repented and received Christ Jesus as Master, Lord of his life, and only Savior should under go water baptism through immersion to seal us and to put on Christ.
Galatians 3:27. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Acts 2:38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 3:15. And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

b.) Holy Communion.
The Lord’s Supper, the breaking of the bread is the communion of the body of Christ, and the cup of blessings is the communion of the blood of Christ. We are reminded of the suffering of Christ on the cross for our sins. The bread symbolizes the body of Christ which was broken for us and the cup is the New Testament in Christ blood and as we partake it, we remembered Him and we partake and become part of His suffering. We are all waiting for His coming.
I Corinthians 11:24-25,. John 6:53-56,.

V. BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST IS THE EVIDENCE OF MANIFESTATION OF SPIRITUAL GIFTS FROM GOD.
a.) The Gifts of the Holy Ghost is to edify the believer’s faith.
1.The common gift is the speaking of tongues. It should be manifested with interpretation when in the church.
2.The gift of miracles, signs, and wonders, will help a great deal for the unbeliever’s to believe God.
3.The gift of revelation is through Visions and dreams to correct man from going astray.
4.The gift of healing and casting out of demons is to help the oppressed and to free from bondage of evil and sin.
5.The gift of discernment is to help and correct man from the fall of deception and lies.
6.The gift of Wisdom is to give man the overview of the mind of Christ and the deep things of God.
7.The gift of knowledge and understanding is to help man teach and understand spiritual and heavenly things.
8.The gift of Prophecy is to help man ahead of time to be aware what God’s impending plan for our life.
9.The gift of Faith is to help man not to waver and to hope and believe for the things that still to come and for those that do exist but could not be seen.

VI. THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION.
The church is not the building, the church are the people of God who are the saints. The Holy Place church started through a series of revelation from God to established it and to fulfill its mission in Evangelizing the world before the Lord comes.
The Holy Place exist expressly to give continuing emphasis to live in an apostolic pattern by teaching believers to live a holy life. The baptism of the Holy Ghost and to practice the full gifts of the Holy Ghost should be encourage, to enhance the understanding of the deep things of God.
a.) Matthew 10:7-8, are being encouraged and practice not only by the missionaries but by the members themselves who could give their life to the mission fields.
b.) To enable to spread the Gospel to all the part of the world and bring people to be reconciled to God. Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15-18.
c.) To be one in a corporate body of believers, to worship freely in the beauty of God’s holiness.
Psalms 29:2, II CHRONICLES 20:21
d.) To be a channel of Spiritual blessings to those who are hurting and relieve the widows and the fatherless. Isaiah 61:1-11.

VII. SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
We believe on the 2nd coming of Christ, and when He comes, those who were dead first will resurrect, and those who are still alive will be caught up together in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death no power.
I THESSALONIANS 4:15-17, REVELATION 1:7, MATTHEW 24:27

VIII. THE FINAL JUDGMENT.
On the great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. The dead, great and small, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
REVELATION 20:11-15.,

IX. THE NEW HEAVENS, NEW EARTH, AND NEW JERUSALEM.
On the final days, the heavens and the earth will burn with a fervent heat and it will be consumed by fire until it will no longer exist.

For behold, I create new heaven and new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17.
For as the new heavens and new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isaiah 66:22.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4

End.

THE HPC CONDUCTS A WEDDING IN PUDDINGSTONE RESORT.

This was Taken last May 10, 2003 during the wedding of Timothy and Shenra Shirey in the City of San Dimas, Los Angeles County.

This place is situated on top of a hill overlooking the lake, and this was a garden wedding, which was a solemn place and the guest were all in joyful spirit.

This turned out to be a beautiful wedding ceremony, where the spirit of God moves within our midst and He solemnized the wedding using only the Pastor as His intrument.

The children of the pastor were present to render songs of worship while the ceremony was being conducted. Sister Rose Cabildo gave an offering songs while the couple were taking their communion after exchanging their solemn vows.

Some members of the church were present to witness the occasion and some elders were also present like: Sister Caridad Mendoza, Sister Libby Hokamura, Brother Brian Cabildo our music director and some friends who joined us.

The reception was held in the same complex and the guest stayed up to 4:00 in the afternoon, the wedding march started at 12:00pm and by 1:00pm it was all over.

Timothy and his bestman were all in their wheel chair, the result of a race car accident, and they could no longer walk. Shenra was a long time acquaintance when I visited and ministered to the Ontario residents and Bella Vista convalescent residents hospital. She wanted me to do the solemnizing of their marriage and after a year, they were counseled and finally married.

The Bridesmaid were all co-workers of Sherna in the Hospital and they are close to her. They are all sweet ladies who are also joining us in the hospital services on Saturdays.

September 2004 Memorial Service Sea Burial of Robert Emboden

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

This was taken on the SS Kristina, a cruise boat located at the Aquarium of the Pacific, being readied to sail as the Holy Place worship team sang praises to God.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com br>
We sang worship songs after one of the daughter of Sister Fely gave a eulogy, as the vessel was preparing to depart to sea.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We have just finished spreading the ashes after commending his being unto God. The boat circled 3 times to where his ashes was dedicated to the deep before proceeding back to the pier.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

We were still underway as I continue to conduct a memorial service, we were still inside the break water of Los Angeles. We all felt the mighty presence of God as we worship Him this Sunday morning.
