THE ARTICLES OF FAITH OF THE HOLY PLACE CHURCH
I. SCRIPTURES INSPIRED.
We believe by faith that every word in the bible are anointed words, true, and inspired by God.
II TIMOTHY 3:16-17. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
II PETER 1:20-21. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
II. ONE TRUE GOD.
GOD who is sometimes address as Elohim, He is one, the true God that created the heavens; HE Himself that formed the earth and made it to be inhabited, He is eternal and self-existent with no beginning and no end, the holy one of Israel, the great “I AM”, the Savior, the Messiah, the redeemer of all mankind, the coming King, the Faithful and True, the Word of God, the Eternal Judge. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. The Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last.
Deuteronomy 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord.
a. THE UNITY OF ONE BEING.
That God is one and represented by three offices or functions. Like man, who was a created being of God was created in the image or a replica of God (GENESIS 1:27) is compose of three bodies, the Body of the flesh, the body of the Soul, and the body of the Spirit.(I JOHN 5:7-8).
Father God, is how we should address Him for He is our provider and for we are all His children. (II Corinthians 6:18)
He is the Eternal One who has no beginning and no ending. He is the Soul of the whole creation. (Colossians 1:16-17)
Jesus who is the Christ is revealed as the only Son, was represented to us in the flesh, the Arm of the Lord revealed himself in Isaiah 53, whom God concentrated His power and in Him is complete. COLOSSIANS 2:9. FOR IN HIM DWELLETH THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. COLOSSIANS 1:19. FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT IN HIM SHOULD ALL FULNESS DWELL; He is the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us and was crucified for all the sins of the world and through Him, we may have salvation. (JOHN 3:15-18)(REVELATION 19:13.)
The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of the living God. We address Him as the Holy Spirit, the comforter, the discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart, the breath of life that made man a living soul.
GENESIS 1:2. AND THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT, FORM AND VOID; AND DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP. AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS. The Spirit of God, which is the Holy Ghost is the gift giver of Wisdom, Faith, Miracles, Healing, Discerners of thoughts, Prophecy, Word of Knowledge, Revelations through dreams and revelation through tongues with interpretation. Use to edify the church and the Saints.
b. IDENTITY AND AGREEMENT OF GOD AS TO ITS THREE DIFFERENT FUNCTIONS.
The Father, The Son, The Holy Ghost has different functions, but they are integral form of Godhead and never separate in agreement as one body and never to confused as three different God. The Son is in the Father and the Father is in the Son as to unity of relationship. The Holy Ghost is from the Father and the Son proceeding, neither has a different office or function of the Godhead, either exists or works separately or independently of the others. (John 5:17-30, John 8:16-19).
c. THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.
That God declare the Name of Jesus the Christ as the only name that is above all name and title.
Philippians 2:9-11, God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name above every name:
That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, on things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord; to the glory of God the father.
d. THE WORD BECAME FLESH.
Jesus Christ was unique, for He was God from all eternity and yet joined Himself to sinful humanity in the incarnation. The God-man possessed all the attributes of deity. Only the God man could be adequate Savior; for He must be human in order to be able to suffer and die, and He must be God to make that death effective as a payment for sin. (Isaiah 7:14. therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, with being interpreted is, God with us. John 1:14. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
III. SALVATION OF MAN.
The world’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God.
a.) Conditions to salvation-is received through repentance toward our Lord God and having our faith in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. By washing of regeneration through the blood of Christ and by the in filling of the Holy Ghost, being justified by grace through faith.
( Luke 24:47, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5-7, John 3:3-7).
b.) Evidence of Salvation-is the inward transformation of man through the power of God by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost and transforming him into a new man. (II Corinthians 5:17, Romans 8:15) The outward evidence of repentant man is to see God’s manifestation and God’s glory in man with the zeal of God as evidence according to knowledge and wisdom from on high. (Romans 8:9-10, Romans 8:1-2 KJV, Romans 12:1-2)
IV. ORDINACES OF THE CHURCH.
a.) Baptism through immersion.
All who have repented and received Christ Jesus as Master, Lord of his life, and only Savior should under go water baptism through immersion to seal us and to put on Christ.
Galatians 3:27. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Acts 2:38. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall received the gift of the Holy Ghost. Matthew 3:15. And Jesus answering said unto him, suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
b.) Holy Communion.
The Lord’s Supper, the breaking of the bread is the communion of the body of Christ, and the cup of blessings is the communion of the blood of Christ. We are reminded of the suffering of Christ on the cross for our sins. The bread symbolizes the body of Christ which was broken for us and the cup is the New Testament in Christ blood and as we partake it, we remembered Him and we partake and become part of His suffering. We are all waiting for His coming.
I Corinthians 11:24-25,. John 6:53-56,.

d.) To be a channel of Spiritual blessings to those who are hurting and relieve the widows and the fatherless. Isaiah 61:1-11.
VII. SECOND COMING OF CHRIST.
We believe on the 2nd coming of Christ, and when He comes, those who were dead first will resurrect, and those who are still alive will be caught up together in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death no power.
I THESSALONIANS 4:15-17, REVELATION 1:7, MATTHEW 24:27
VIII. THE FINAL JUDGMENT.
On the great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. The dead, great and small, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
REVELATION 20:11-15.,
IX. THE NEW HEAVENS, NEW EARTH, AND NEW JERUSALEM.
On the final days, the heavens and the earth will burn with a fervent heat and it will be consumed by fire until it will no longer exist.
For behold, I create new heaven and new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 65:17.
For as the new heavens and new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. Isaiah 66:22.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:3-4
End.
